Can't I just build it myself on Wix or Squarespace?
You can — and many musicians do. But there's a difference between a site that exists and a site that works. Wix and Squarespace give you tools; we give you a finished result, built specifically for how bookers, agents, and audiences interact with a performer's website. No template-hunting, no weekend lost to font decisions, no wondering if it looks right.
What makes a Sonara site different from a template?
Every Sonara site is built around you — your photography, your repertoire, your career stage. The colour palette, typography, and layout are chosen to reflect your artistic identity, not fitted around a generic theme. Two Sonara sites will never look the same.
What is hosting, and why do I need it?
Hosting is what keeps your website visible on the internet — think of it as the rent on the server where your site lives. Your first year is included in every Sonara package. After that it's £120/year if you're managing updates yourself, or £250/year if you'd like us to keep everything current for you.
Do I need to buy a domain name?
Yes — your domain (e.g. yourname.com) is yours to own and we'll help you register one if you don't have it already. It typically costs £10–15 per year directly with a registrar like Namecheap. We connect it to your site as part of the package.
How long does it actually take?
Most Sonara sites are delivered within 7–10 days of receiving your content — photos, bio, press quotes, performance dates, and media links. The faster you can send us your materials, the faster you go live. Our Prestige package includes priority delivery in 3–5 days.
What do I need to provide?
Your photography, a written bio, any press reviews or quotes, upcoming performance dates, and links to any audio or video you'd like featured. We'll guide you through exactly what we need with a simple checklist once you get in touch.
What if I want to make changes after launch?
If you're on the Solo package you'll have full CMS access to update your own calendar, press, and media sections. If you're on Managed or Prestige, just send us a message — WhatsApp, email, whatever works for you — and we'll handle it. No tickets, no waiting queues.
Do you only work with singers?
No — we work with any classical musician who needs a professional online presence. Singers, pianists, conductors, composers, chamber ensembles. If you perform classical music, we can build your site.
